How do I pay
We use a secure client portal for all payments. If you didn’t sign up through our instant quote button, a Scoopo team member will create an account for you and send your login details by email. Setup takes less than a few minutes. Inside the portal, you’ll be able to view invoices, track past cleanups, and securely store your credit/debit card on file. Once your card is linked, invoices are automatically processed and receipts are emailed to you.
Note: Your card must be linked before your first scheduled visit. If it isn’t, we’ll attempt to contact you and knock at your door. If we can’t reach you, your cleanup will be rescheduled to the next available date. Need help adding your card? Call us at 248-385-3672 — we’ll gladly walk you through it.
Do you bill monthly?
Yes. All clients are billed before service begins with exception of One-time cleanups. Your first charge covers the initial cleanup (when required) plus the remainder of the current month. After that, recurring clients are automatically billed on the 1st of each month in advance of services.
Notes:
- If you begin recurring service mid-month, your first charge will cover the remainder of that month along with the initial cleanup (when required).
- Your next billing date will reset to the 1st of the following month.
- If you are on a Twice-per-Week, Weekly, or Bi-weekly recurring plan, your initial cleanup is waived as a welcome gift.
- If you are on a Bi-weekly recurring plan, your first charge will include the remainder of the current month. To ensure fairness and continuity of service, your account will also be billed for the upcoming month’s services prior to your initial cleanup. After that, billing will continue on the 1st of each month.
- Monthly recurring plans are billed at the standard service rate and are not eligible for waived initial cleanups. The standard initial cleanup charge applies when required.
- One-time cleanups are billed after completion of service. Charges are based on the time and condition of the yard, with a minimum service fee applied. Additional charges may apply for larger or heavily soiled properties.
- Payment Policy: All accounts must have valid billing in place prior to the first cleanup. Your first charge will be collected upon sign-up or, at the latest, before your scheduled first visit. This secures your spot on the Scoopo schedule. Accounts without payment on file will not be serviced.
- Prepaid recurring service charges are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-month, you may continue service for the remainder of the paid period.
Rate Increases
Scoopo reserves the right to apply annual price adjustments. Clients will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and new rates will take effect with the next billing cycle.
What time will you be at my home?
We can’t provide exact appointment times due to route optimization, which helps us keep prices fair. Our crews work from around 7am until dusk. You will always receive a text when we’re on the way. If you are near the beginning of a route, this message will usually come 15-30 minutes prior. Your service day will stay the same each week, and if it changes, we’ll notify you ahead of time.
Do I have to be home when you clean?
No, you don’t need to be home. We simply ask that gates are accessible. We’re happy to work with dogs in the yard as long as they’re friendly — our team loves pets! After each visit, we’ll send a picture of your closed gate for your records.
Note: If it’s the first time meeting your dogs and you are home, please let the technician know in advance before letting them out, just to avoid surprises.
What happens to the pet waste?
During each visit, we double-bag the waste and place it in the customer’s trash can or neatly beside their house if access isn’t available. We don’t haul pet waste between properties because it’s the cleanest and safest approach. This helps prevent cross-contamination between yards and keeps service efficient and affordable without added dumpster fees.
What if my service day falls on a holiday?
If your service falls on a holiday, we’ll skip that week and return the following week for a double cleanup. Since two weeks of waste will have accumulated, regular billing still applies.
Scoopo observes: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Do you disinfect your equipment?
Yes. All equipment is sanitized after every cleanup with kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs.
Social Media & Media Use
By using our services, you grant Scoopo permission to capture photos or videos of our work for training and promotional use (website, social media, marketing). If any media could identify you personally, we will always seek your consent first.
Liability & Disclaimer
By using Scoopo services, you agree to release and hold harmless Scoopo LLC, its employees, and affiliates from any liability related to:
- Injuries or damage caused by unsecured or aggressive pets.
- Injuries to technicians due to hazardous property conditions not disclosed beforehand.
- Damage to Scoopo’s equipment caused by unsafe conditions on your property.
- Damage to your property, gates, or landscaping, except where caused by Scoopo’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Pet safety remains the responsibility of the owner. Scoopo takes great care when entering and exiting yards, but we are not responsible for pets escaping, injury to pets, or pet behavior during or after our visit. Please ensure gates and enclosures are secure and pets are supervised if needed.
Force Majeure
If service is prevented due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, severe weather, or equipment failures), we will notify you as soon as possible. Service credits are not provided for these events.
Scoopo may update these Terms periodically. We’ll notify you of material changes via email or your customer portal. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
